Dear All,
For you information, we have a customer to apply a China visa yesterday, the officer said we shall take it back on the same day at 18:00. But in fact we couldn’t get back the passport untill 20:00.
The China Consulate hold all the passport without any explanation to the applicants for this matter. We guess due to the riots in Tibet; so that they check the passport very carefully and need a long processing time to issue the visa.
Herewith our advise and information for your reference : –
1) They don’t accept the application for multi entry visa for 6 & 12
months ( unlimited detention re-issue this kind of visa in H.K.)
2) No fast entry visa issued at Shenzhen – Lok Ma Chau broader
(unlimited detention re-issue this kind of visa in H.K.)
3) If possible, apply a visa at your country.
4) At least stay in HK 2-3 days for the processing time to apply the
China visa.
5) If your time is very tight, you better issue the changeable ticket in
case you can’t get back your passport on time.
With regards,
Jane
